SCOPE:

Work within the divisional advanced engineering group to develop and support Global engineering software tools, including CAD, CAE, PLM, and Relational databases.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology or Engineering/Computer Science, or 10 or more years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Demonstrates good understanding of PLM concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Overall experience in Windchill PLM and 1 or more years of experience, with emphasis as Windchill Technical Architect for engineering solution, project life-cycle management systems, product data management, and associated networking systems.
  • Worked / Consultant – PLM or PDM or Document Management Systems in a reputable organization.
  • Ability to Install & configure software products such as Java, Web Servers (Apache, IIS), Servlet Engine (Tomcat, WebSphere), and CAD Tools (CREO, CATIA, NX, Solidworks)
  • Experience with Windchill PLM PDMLink 10/11, Installing, configuring, and Customizations of ACLs, Lifecycles, Workflows, InfoTasks, OIRs, actions/action-models, based on Business Process Requirements, and user experience and efficiency.
  • PTC Windchill Quality Solutions, MPMLink, and Integrity Requirement Management software experience an advantage
  • Very good working knowledge in JavaScript, HTML, XML, CSS
  • C+,matlab, python scripting would be an asset
  • Database experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience configuring operating systems (Windows 7, Windows 10) and essential components of Operating Systems (network, etc.)
  • Capable of handling multiple activities, overseeing infrastructure design, system upgrades and customizations, work flow creation, and working with a team to develop solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Capable of managing the team of 4+ resources with different skill sets and guide them on best practices, technical assistance and mentor them for any new functionality and features
  • Capable of interfacing suppliers and coordinate for the requirements, status updates, enhancements, deployments and go-live supports
  • Innovative, thinks outside the box, and can develop solutions to improve existing engineering systems
  • Detail oriented, organized, and experience in resource planning and allocation.
  • Excellent communications, problem solving skills, and ability to work in a global engineering organization
